Beijing, the capital of China, is the nation’s political, economic, cultural, educational and international trade and communication center. It is also one of the six ancient cities in China and even one of the greatest ancient capitals in the world. For travellers, it is home to experience China’s deep culture and long history.
It is regarded as the never miss destination: Hiking up the winding Great Wall could be a once in a life experience and a visit to Forbidden City can see the ancient imperial palace, also the typical example of traditional architecture heritage; Summer Palace is another piece of the empire’s glorious creations, together with Tiananmen Square, Temple of Heaven, Ming Tomb and other temples.
You may have a different life here, cycling in the Hutong area and get a glimpse of Old Pecking lifestyle, trekking on the remote and untouched Great Wall sections with few tourists there; have a wonderful Beijing Night and enjoy the fabulous Beijing Opera, taste the famous Pecking roast duck, visit the local markets and bargain for a good deal.
